Our house does not get very good air flow in the heat we have been experiencing this summer, so instead of literally sitting on our couches and melting away we decided to take a cooler approach. We spent a lot of time with family and friends at the beginning of the summer at the lake. We had lots of fun and invited out several of our friends and family to come play with us and have a little BBQ even sometimes. A few afternoons, my friend Tonya and I would enjoy a leisurely afternoon dipping in at the lake. It was a perfect way to cool off cheaply and bring a little picnic lunch. Lots of fun memories!!!! Thanks to all who came out and played with us, to those who didn't make it out, maybe next summer... not that this one is over just yet!!!!
