For my late birthday present Caleb took me away to a place we like very much at Canon Beach. We spent Friday afternoon driving and hoping that we knew where we were going. We finally arrived, in the rain no less and took a nice relaxing nap in our room, then went off to find a fun place for dinner in town. We had some great weather the next day and went to see the sand castle building contests.... a bit disappointing after some we saw on our honeymoon, but still fun. We shopped around, walked the beach and just enjoyed watching some movies and relaxing in our awesome room. It was a great weekend, and Brandy was nice enough to puppy/house/cat sit for us! (Brandy you rock!!! thanks so much!) We took our time getting home, but I must say I missed my wild mutt and was glad to get back to our bed, but i wish the ocean was closer. Something about the Ocean, and that smell just relaxes me and takes me back... to so many memories! Thanks babe for a fabulous birthday gift weekend.
